About CredMe
Getting a mortgage in the UAE is harder to understand than it needs to be. CredMe was built to fix that.
Short answer
CredMe UAE mortgage advisory is a UAE mortgage advisory for residential mortgages and commercial property finance, operated by CredMe LLC FZ in the United Arab Emirates. Its official website is credmeuae.com.
CredMe helps you understand your mortgage position before you approach a bank: what you could borrow, what it would cost, and what is holding you back.
It combines a structured assessment with a conversation with a mortgage consultant. It is not a bank, and it does not decide whether you get a mortgage.
A mortgage is the biggest financial commitment most people ever make. In the UAE it is also unusually hard to get a straight answer about.
Banks apply different rules. They read your income differently, especially if you work for yourself. Debts you had forgotten about count. The property changes things too: what it is worth, whether it is ready or off-plan, which emirate it sits in.
So most people start with the same question: which bank will give me the lowest rate? It is a fair question, and it is the wrong one to start with. The lowest advertised rate is often not a rate you can get, and a rate on its own does not tell you what the mortgage costs.
CredMe changes the order. Work out where you stand first. Then look at your options. A decision made that way is one you can explain, and one you are less likely to regret.
Your income and how you earn it, what you already owe, the property, and what you are trying to do: buy, switch, or raise money against something you own.
It applies the same assessment to everyone, and shows which limit is holding you back: your income, the property, or what you already owe.
A CredReport sets out your position, what it would cost, which banks fit your file and why, and what would move you into a better band. A document, not a quote.
A mortgage consultant goes through it with you, picks up what the analysis could not see, and talks through what to do next.
One thing matters more than the rest of that sequence: a CredMe analysis is not a lender approval. It is a view of your position based on what you tell us. It commits no bank to anything. The lender assesses your application and makes the final decision.
How CredMe works sets out the steps, and what a CredReport contains shows what you actually get.
Software is good at some things: holding a lot of information, applying the same rules every time, and giving you an answer that does not depend on who happened to look at your file.
It is bad at understanding you. A gap in your employment has a reason. A loan on paper may be nearly paid off. Two people with identical numbers can be in genuinely different situations, and no amount of structure sorts that out.
So CredMe uses both. The system does the consistent part. A CredMe Mortgage Consultant reads your situation, challenges an assumption where it needs challenging, and talks through what to do next. Neither is dressed up as the other.
Today CredMe is a founder and mortgage consultant, and it is worth saying that plainly rather than implying a department that does not exist. More experienced mortgage and banking people will join as it grows.

Founder & Mortgage Consultant
Om Deep Sharma is a mortgage professional with 17+ years of cross-industry experience across mortgage advisory, real estate, fintech, SaaS, technology and customer-focused businesses.
That work has included running mortgage businesses, building real estate technology, forming partnerships across the UAE property market, and sitting with customers through difficult financing decisions.
CredMe comes from having seen the mortgage journey from several sides at once: how the customer experiences it, how the advisor works it, how the business runs it, and how the technology has to model it. Each view on its own is incomplete. CredMe is the attempt to put them together.
It does not lend money, hold deposits or issue mortgage offers.
The final lending decision belongs to the lender, which assesses your application under its own policy.
No analysis can tell you that a particular bank will say yes.
The lowest advertised rate is often not a rate you can actually get, and the cheapest headline is not always the cheapest overall.
None of that is hedging. It is what makes the rest of the page worth reading: an assessment is only useful if you know exactly what it is. Our disclaimer sets out the full position, and how we are paid explains why banks are ranked by fit rather than by what they pay us.
To see your numbers, the mortgage calculator works out what you could borrow and what it would cost, free, and without signing up. To understand what decides the answer, what UAE banks look at covers it. And if you already have a mortgage, whether switching is worth it is the question that page answers.
